The neo soul era in the late 90's, early 2000's was the era that I related to most. I loved the direction that hip hop was talking during that time, my favorite hip hop artist were going from rugged to grown. Collaborations opened me up to a lot of r&b artist like Jill Scott, Amel Larrieux, Erykah Badu & many more.
